Preview: Juventus v Fulham

by Mark Doyle , 10 March 2010

Fulham must travel to Turin for the biggest game in their history without their captain, Danny Murphy.

The former Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder is suspended after being sent off in the closing stages of the Cottagers' 1-1 draw with Shakhtar Donetsk in the last round.

Nicky Shorey is again cup-tied and that gives manager Roy Hodgson a problem at left-back as his obvious replacement, Paul Koncheskey, is struggling with an ankle injury. However, the latter is expected to be fit to start.

Elsewhere, Stefano Okaka is also cup-tied, while Andy Johnson, Clint Dempsey and John Pantsil (all knee) remain long-term injury absentees.

Fulham team (from): Schwarzer, Zuberbuhler, Baird, Kelly, Stoor, Hangeland, Konchesky, Hughes, Smalling, Marsh-Brown, Gera, Duff, Greening, Davies, Etuhu, Riise, Nevland, Elm, Zamora.
