Sunderland defender Pascal Chimbonda has admitted he would jump at the chance to move to French champions Lyon.
The 29-year-old former Wigan and Spurs full back joined Sunderland this summer, but his future is in doubt after he fell out of favour with Roy Keane.
And with Lyon apparently weighing up a January move, Chimbonda says he would love to return to France.
He said in the News of the World: “Who would refuse Lyon? Me, I would go there on foot.
“I do not hide the fact that I am happy a big club is interested in me.
“With Lyon, you get the Champions League and the Ligue 1 title every year.
“They would be a solution for me.”
