Southampton starlet Andrew Surman has played down reports he could be about to join Fulham or Stoke.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been linked with a move to The Premier League, and he recently admitted that Southampton’s financial situation could mean he moves on sooner rather than later.
However, he says he is not aware of any interest and is happy to continue at St Mary’s.
"A lot of things have been said in the paper about as far as I'm concerned they are just rumours,” he told the club’s official website.
“I am a Southampton player and I'm happy here.
"Every player in The Championship would love to play in The Premier League one day, but I just want to keep doing what I am doing for Southampton.
"It's nice to be linked to big clubs, but you don't want to get too excited about paper talk because a lot of it is not true."
