Eduardo has declared he is ready to turn out for Arsenal again after discussing his fitness with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.
The Croatian striker has not featured for the north London side since February 2008, when he suffered a horrific leg injury.
After a long and slow road to recovery the 25-year-old made his first senior appearance on Wednesday when featuring in his country’s friendly win over Romania.
And Eduardo has posed the question to Wenger about making his comeback for Arsenal, having played some reserve football of late.
“I am ready to go,” said the Croatian striker.
“I’ve spoken to the manager about it and it will be his decision.
“I’ll just say to him I need matches now.”
Arsenal face Cardiff in the FA Cup on Monday and Eduardo could make his return in front of the Setanta Sports cameras.
