Eredivisie round-up: Leaders held

by setanta.com staff , 26 April 2009

A penalty from Luis Suarez three minutes from full-time saw Ajax claim a 1-1 draw against Eredivisie leaders AZ Alkmaar.

Jeremain Lens gave AZ a goal lead on 23 minutes, but the visitors had to play with only 10 men for the final half an hour after the dismissal of Stijn Schaars.

Roy Makaay scored an 82nd-minute winner for Feyenoord in a 3-2 win at ADO den Haag, a match in which Jon Dahl Tomasson scored twice.

Claudemir Domingues de Silva scored twice as Vitesse Arnhem defeated Utrecht 6-1, while Groningen and Willem II drew 0-0.
