Steve McClaren’s Twente secured Champions League football for next season as they beat champions AZ while Sparta thrash Ajax and Roda remain bottom of Eredivisie.
Twente are four points clear in the race for second place after a 3-0 win against 10-man AZ which saw goals for Kenneth Perez [47], Peter Wisferhof [60] and Eljero Elia [78], as Gill Swerts received his marching orders.
