Bolton striker Johan Elmander has hit back at suggestions his first season in England has been a 'fiasco’.
The 28-year-old Sweden international has scored just five goals since his £8.2 million move from Toulouse last summer and some critics feel he has failed to justify his price tag.
However, Elmander says he is about more than just goals and his detractors do not understand his game.
"I am in good shape and things have been pretty good during the season even though I haven’t scored that many goals,” he said in Fotbolls Expressen.
"I read somewhere that my season has been a 'fiasco’. Anyone who says or writes that knows nothing about the way I play.”
