Wigan midfielder Paul Scharner has opened the door to a potential move to Fulham by expressing his admiration for The Cottagers.
Scharner has made it clear he wants a fresh challenge away from Wigan, following three years with The Latics.
A host of clubs from England and Germany are believed to be keen on the Austria international, with Fulham strongly linked in recent days.
There has been no word from Craven Cottage on any potential move for Scharner, but the club have clearly crossed the radar of the Austrian.
”The club bosses want to take Fulham forward,” said Scharner.
“They were almost relegated the previous year, but they have qualified for the Europa League and are clearly moving in the right direction.”
