Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira and Alexander Hleb are transfer targets for Lyon, according to director Bernard Lacombe.
Vieira has hinted that he could move on from Inter in order to secure regular playing time next season and remain a contender to be included in France’s World Cup squad.
And Lacombe has reacted positively to the midfielder’s announcement by opening the door to a possible transfer.
OL, who lost their Ligue 1 crown to Bordeaux after a seven-year reign, have also expressed their interest in Barcelona flop Hleb.
The Belarus international is yet to establish himself as a first team player at Camp Nou and he did not even appear in the Champions League final.
“Hleb is a good player and we are going to see what we can do,” Lacombe told OLTV.
“We are worried by [Vieira’s] injuries. But he really wants to be playing in the World Cup, so why not?”
Porto star Lisandro Lopez is an an option for Lyon, and Lacombe said about him: “We have been following him a lot. We are going to try and approach him.
"It is going to be complicated but [chairman] Jean-Michel Aulas has a good relationship with Porto’s chairman, which can be a boost.”
Meanwhile, Fernando Hidalgo, the agent of Lopez, has insisted that his client is happy with the Dragoes.
He told O Jogo: “Only a mega offer could convince Lisandro to leave Porto, as he is committed to the club and is under contract until June 2011.
"Obviously there are offers from abroad, but nothing concrete has happened.”
