Tuncay hints at Reds interest

Middlesbrough striker Tuncay Sanli has expressed interest in securing a move to Liverpool.

The Turkey international forward seems certain to head for pastures new following Boro’s relegation to The Championship.

Turkish giants Fenerbahce are believed to be keen on bringing Tuncay back home, but he is thought to favour extending his stay in England.

The 27-year-old is unlikely to be short of suitors and reports suggest he is on Rafa Benitez’s radar.

"Yes, I've heard something about that but nothing official has arrived to me," he said.

"Of course I would like to play for a big club."

Listen all lfc fans, tuncay is a legend who deserves a top 4 club, he was awesome in a very poor team this year, he has more to his game than benayoun or lucas put together. All us boro fans will be gutted when he goes but he`s far to good for championship football.

Iam a Boro fan and would just like to say if you sign Tuncay then you have signes a real gem. At boro we have had our fair share of world class players; Juninho, Ravanelli, Emerson, Hasslebaink etc... Tuncay for the vast majority of Boro supporters is rated higher than all. People get the impression he is a striker, this is not the case, he is a creative midfielder who scores sum spectacular goals. He works tirelessly, has unbelievable technical ability and is a team player. His best position is centre mid. Once you see him play week in week out iam 100% positive that all LFC fans will change their mind on him. Class act on and off the field

tbh if uz take owen a will be happy but it will be uz guys that loose out! Not only that if uz do go for Villa, Silva or Ribery they would end-up on the bench and uz will end up like Chelsea!!

This is why we have only signed torress over the last couple of seasons that is any good. World class players dont want to play for our team anymore, face it we are to stubborn. We are 2 or 3 seasons away from winning the title. We wont buy anyone decent we dont have money and lure. Up the scouse brigadee!Best players in the world, Kaka,Messi,Ronaldo would never in billion years come to liverpool.

This boy is world class and will definetly be our big summer signing. Villa, Silva,Ribery lets be honest there never gunna come to us. We dont have that special lure anymore and have ne money. Tuncay,Barton,Brunt,Ricardo Garnder will make our squad a title vinning wun. Up the scouseee brigade!!!
