Pascal Zuberbuhler is delighted to have committed his future to Fulham.
The 38-year-old goalkeeper joined The Cottagers as a free agent last term as cover for Mark Schwarzer.
And the Swiss veteran has been rewarded for his hard work at training with a new deal until the end of next season.
Former West Bromwich Albion shot-stopper Zuberbuhler has expressed his joy at remaining a Fulham player, saying: “I am experiencing a fantastic period of my career. I belong to an historic club in London, within the greatest league in the world.
“I can feel immense respect in my work from the Fulham directors. Roy Hodgson is a great person. He is the one who convinced me to stay another year.”
He added: “Obviously I’d like to play more often. But at least I know what to expect. I have a lot of fun training. And I have been on the same wavelength with Mark Schwarzer since day one.”
