Stoke midfielder Salif Diao has revealed he has offers from France and Italy as he considers a new deal at the club.
The 32-year-old former Liverpool man has been offered a contract extension to keep him at the Britannia Stadium, but it is understood that he is looking for a significant improvement on the terms offered if he is to sign.
And, after a successful season back in The Premier League, the Senegal international says he has been in contact with several sides from around the continent.
"I have spoken to two or three clubs and have told them I am back [from holiday] next week and will meet them and talk properly," he said in The Sentinel.
"I would like to stay in England, but have options in France and Italy.
"I am not going to rush anything, so will see how things go."
