Republic of Ireland captain Robbie Keane is staying cautious about Bulgaria striker Dimitar Berbatov ahead of their World Cup qualifier on Saturday.
The two crafty frontmen struck up a superb partnership when they were at Tottenham Hotspur, so Keane knows exactly what the Bulgarian skipper is capable of.
Don't forget to watch Republic of Ireland take on Bulgaria in their World Cup qualifier on Saturday, June 6 from 17:50 on Setanta Sports 2.
Ireland go into Saturday's Group 8 game knowing that a victory would put them top of the group and wipe out Bulgaria's chances of qualification.
However, Keane is expecting a tough match and thinks that his old team-mate could be one of their main dangermen.
"Of course, he is very dangerous. He is a fantastic player," said Keane of Berbatov at a press conference on Friday.
"I had the privilege to play with him for two years at Tottenham Hotspur and he is a massive danger to us, so we have to be wary of him.
"They also have other player who are just as important to the Bulgarian team, but he is certainly a threat.
"He has got quality - he's good on the ball, he's great in the air, he can score a goal, so we will certainly have to be wary of him."
