Robert Huth has opened the door to a move away from Middlesbrough by admitting he can envisage returning to play in Germany.
It would appear Huth is planning for life away from Teesside following Boro’s relegation to The Championship.
Fulham and Birmingham are believed to be interested in offering the no-nonsense defender a route back to The Premier League.
However, it is reported that Borussia Monchengladbach are keen on the former Chelsea man and he would appear to be open to the prospect of a move to his native land.
"I can imagine myself returning to the Bundesliga to play, " Huth told the German media.
Reflecting on Boro’s relegation, he added: "We were not strong enough for the league, only 28 goals in 38 games – that says everything."
