Clarence Seedorf has played down the prospect of linking up with Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea, with the Dutchman saying he has no intention of leaving Milan.
Dutch midfielder Seedorf was a trusted foot-soldier of Ancelotti’s at the San Siro and reports have suggested he could follow the Italian to Stamford Bridge.
While Alexandre Pato has suggested he would talk to Ancelotti before deciding on his future, it seems Seedorf is content with his position with the Serie A giants.
”I have a contract with Milan and I am very happy here,” Seedorf told his personal website in response to reports of a move to Chelsea.
”I have two more years on my contact but I hope to play for three or four more years,” added the 33-year-old.
The prospect of Chelsea making a late bid to head off Inter for Marko Arnautovic has lessened, with his agent claiming The Blues have backed off following checks on the Twente star’s foot injury.
