wenger needs to sign chilenni (or however you spell he's name) isnt he only 24/25 and from what i see of him, he is 100% the outstanding defender in the seria A, and thats a defensive league. italians are natural defenders and model pros, with exception to di canio who was a great player but too wild, the far majority of italian players lead with example, dont drink or go clubbing much and keep their head down. wasnt it maldini or gattuso who sometimes cooks for he's younger team mates to stop them going out on week nights.
anyway main point is,african football is gonna take away loads of our players in january, and we need cover thats settles and fighting in our squad, toure, eboue, song etc will be gone, we need serious cover as what if the likes of gallas gets injured again, it will be another wasted season with excuses. we need to buy 2 experienced defenders and 2 midfielders, one of which is a fully established international. if podge cant see this then he is deluding himself.
