Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell has rubbished claims that Everton have offered for England Under-21 international Kyle Naughton.
The defender is one of The Championship’s brightest prospects and it was reported earlier this week that David Moyes had tabled an offer worth £5 million.
But Blackwell claims The Toffees have not been in touch regarding a potential transfer for the 20-year-old right back.
“There is loads of speculation about at the moment and I am not into commenting on that,” Blackwell told the club’s official website.
“Nobody from Everton has contacted me about Kyle so, as far as I am concerned, there is nothing in it and I am not aware of anything from anybody else.”
Naughton has also been linked with Manchester United in recent months after an outstanding season for The Blades.
