Blackburn striker Matt Derbyshire is set to hold talks with Olympiakos after the clubs reached an agreement for a transfer.
The 23-year-old enjoyed a successful loan spell with the Greek champions this season and has indicated that he would welcome the chance to make the move permanent, and Blackburn have now confirmed that he has been told he can discuss personal terms over a move.
A statement on the official Blackburn website read: “Blackburn Rovers have reached a verbal agreement with Olympiakos for the transfer of striker Matt Derbyshire.
“Matt has now been given permission to hold talks with the Greek club.”
