Kluivert yet to call time on career

by Robin Hackett , 19 June 2009

Patrick Kluivert insists he has yet to call time on his playing career despite spending a year out.

After leaving Lille in 2008, the 32-year-old former Holland striker spent last season working as a coach at Eredivisie champions AZ Alkmaar.

And while Kluivert is currently weighing up the chance to join PSV as a coach, he insists says he has not ruled out a comeback as a player.

“I have yet to make a final decision,” he told AD Sportwereld.

“I am two weeks away from 33 years old, so I can still play football and I must say that I feel good.

“I’m not suffering from any physical worries.

“We see what happens later this year.

“I’ve learned plenty after spending a year working under Louis van Gaal at AZ, so now I’ll look at PSV and see if I’m going to become a coach.”
