Bairns manager hunt nearly complete

by Gordon Pope , 19 June 2009

Falkirk have confirmed their new management team will be named on Tuesday, with Eddie May expected to be take the hot-seat.

The Bairns have been searching for a replacement for John Hughes since he went to Hibernian and the final details look to have been sorted.

“I would have liked to announce the new manager of Friday but these things always take a bit longer than you think,” managing director George Craig told the Falkirk website.

“There are procedures you have to go through and the people involved have to be given time to discuss it with their families.

“However, everything is now in place and I look forward to making the announcement on Tuesday.”

May is set to be joined by Steven Pressley and Alex Smith at the Falkirk Stadium as the club look to build on their cup final appearance last season.
