Chelsea have, as expected, launched an appeal against the punishments dished out by Uefa in response to events during and after their Champions League defeat to Barcelona.
The Blues were fined £85,000 for the improper conduct of their players, as well as missiles thrown by fans during the semi-final second leg at Stamford Bridge.
And Didier Drogba and Jose Bosingwa were both handed bans for games in Europe, with the Ivorian striker facing a six-game banishment with two matches suspended, and Bosingwa four games with one suspended.
Both players were reprimanded for their conduct towards referee Tom Henning Ovrebo.
Should the appeal fail all the sanctions imposed on Chelsea by Uefa will be upheld.
