Relegated Middlesbrough are being linked with a move for Young Boys star Baykal Kulaksizoglu, according to reports in Switzerland.
The 26-year-old will leave his current employers this summer and is believed to be a target for Gareth Southgate as he prepares for life in The Championship.
Kulaksizoglu, who has dual Swiss and Turkish nationality, has admitted he is ready to leave Young Boys.
“The club has given me an offer that I could not accept,” Kulaksizoglu told 20 Minuten.
The midfielder began his career with Grasshopper Zurich in 2001, before joining FC Thun, FC Basel and Cologne.
