Speaking to setanta.com Dermot McArdle said of the DVD: "Our latest DVD, 99 Animated Drills and Conditioning Games for Gaelic Football, is a product of my attempts to be innovative in terms of GAA and Gaelic Games. I think it does no harm to have an external voice at times on different issues in the GAA. I think it might help to keep the GAA honest in a sense, because if they have the monopoly on everything, then sometimes progress is pretty slow.
"Luckily I have been very busy, and I have taken on another guy to help me with GaelicPerformance, the Monaghan goalkeeper Padraig McBennett. He is now with me on a full-time basis and we are going to put a big push on the DVD because we have a lot of things we want to get done. I have about 15 titles I want to get developed and I have only about two done, so I have a fair bit still to do…
"Initially we marketed the product at clubs but what I am finding is that people are taking the initiative themselves now to find out about us. There are a lot of single DVD sales to people who want to find out about it themselves. Our next task is to contact the clubs directly."
