Saracens have completed a deal for Bedford Blues lock Mouritz Botha.
Botha, 27, moves to Vicarage Road where he will add to the Guinness Premiership side’s second row resources following several seasons of establishing a strong reputation.
He has made 57 appearances for Bedford Blues having signed for them from Bedford Athletic in 2006, after which he proved to be a real star and Saracens incoming Director of Rugby Brendan Venter has said of the club’s latest addition: “His attitude is fantastic.
"Mouritz has all the attributes to make an excellent contribution next season.”
