Arsenal lost the last Women's League Cup to Everton, which was certainly a surprise on the night, but, having said that, since that day, they have won every single domestic game they have played.
They're on something ridiculous like a 106-game unbeaten run in the league and haven't even drawn a game in the league this season. They did lose in the Uefa Cup but have been domestically on fire and you cannot get more overwhelming favourites this evening than Arsenal.
Things could be about to change after tonight as it does see the departure of a couple of key players in Kelly Smith and right back Alex Scott.
They are both going to America to play professional football again after tonight so we could see a bit of a transition for Arsenal.
Arsenal are top of the league by six points from Everton with Chelsea way back in third but, once the players have gone, we could see a bit more competitive women's game.
Smith is, without doubt, the best player the country has ever produced and has 28 goals in 21 games this season while Scott is an excellent player.
You get the feeling from now on, as Chelsea have got a couple of good players as well, that we could start to see a change in the women's game domestically and that would be a good thing. Arsenal have been so dominant and, as we know, that can be a bit boring in football.
The interesting thing is Doncaster Belles, although Arsenal have been the dominant force over the past 10 years, really put the women's game on the map all those years ago.
They have a great history and won many competitions but have not won a cup for 15 years and have never won the League Cup.
So they have a point to prove but they're without a couple of key players tonight so it's going to be very, very difficult to get anything against Arsenal.
Without their top scorer, not many people are backing Doncaster but, you never know, Everton did it last year so perhaps there is something about this League Cup final.
There should be a decent crowd at Glanford Park. The FA do well in marketing this sort of game and it's kick off at 7.05pm so children can come along because of the early start and we're looking for a good crowd.
We'll be hearing from England coach Hope Powell at half time tonight so it should be a good game to watch.
Doncaster Belles v Arsenal in the Women's League Cup final is live on Setanta Sports on Thursday night.
