Donald where he belongs

Luke Donald made a very good start to the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Club and he is coming into some good form.

Donald was off nice and early and got some of the best conditions but this golf course is not supposed to give away scores like that (64) so obviously he is playing very well.

He has putting stack going at the moment, he is driving it very well, his game is coming together and he says that he is happy to be out and about on the golf course and there is nothing happier than shooting a 64 on a Thursday morning.

I think when you have a break you come back a little bit apprehensive and you think 'Can I play?', 'Do I still want to hit the same shots?', 'How will my game be?' because it is completely different to being on a practice ground and hitting lots of shots with your mates to having your name announced on the first tee. That's the big barrier you have to get through.

Luke had the problem at the start of the year at the matchplay when he was on the 18th tee with Ernie Els and said he couldn't hit the shot because he didn't want to damage his wrist as he felt something pop.
