The heavyweight division is alive again!

David Haye's been tracking Wladimir Klitschko and he’s got him. He ambushed him at The O2 and was really in Wlad’s face.

It really caught him off guard even though he is a big, tough, brave boy.

The crowds go mild in Germany, they love their boxing but sit there quietly. David’s right, the fans don’t make any noise but the Brits that go over, say it’s in Berlin and that’s favourite, what a fantastic early summer treat out there for them.

Alexander Povetkin injured himself after he had taken care of a lot of unmotivated Americans and got into the number one position with the organisations. But he fell over a twig when running and it wrecked his ankle when he was in a serious number one position. He will have to fight the winner of Haye-Klitschko and, trust me, if Haye wins, he’s going to have to fight Povetkin. I like Povetkin.

Estrada flopped at the Olympics when a big Cuban beat him in the quarters but let’s hope and pray one United States heavyweight gets on the plane and doesn’t forget his nuts.

The heavyweights are not all bad. I’ve given them stick in the past but Povetkin is a young Russian who is unbeaten and I like him.

Okay, he’s not that sexy when it comes to fighting but he’s good and does everything good. Wladimir is a big lump – I’ve been critical but he knows how to not get hurt and hurt you. He knows how to get off the floor. Big Vitali, you could hit him with a stool or a plank and he’ll still keep coming. He’s tough, not got great lateral movement, but has a rock-hard jab and rock-hard chin. Chris Arreola, I’ve liked him all along, sure he’s carrying some weight and sure he’s sluggish but he gets hit and gets up.

Haye has given the heavyweight division the kiss of life. You go and look online or in foreign newspapers and, since the Enzo Maccarinelli fight, Haye has been the man getting down there, parting the lips and breathing life into the division. Trust me, the heavyweights are not all bad.
