Sir Alex can change Berbatov

There is something about Dimitar Berbatov. I think if you’re a professional and watch a game, we all love a Berbatov.

He will frustrate you, but you know there’s something about him.

If one man can change him, Sir Alex will. I sat and watched Cristiano Ronaldo for 18 months and trust me, he was giving everyone the hump.The crowd were at him, and his tricks were going nowhere.

I believe Sir Alex can do the same with Berbatov. Okay, he’s older, but I’m sure he can get him to add a little bit of a difference to his game.

He did it with Eric Cantona, he sorted him out in certain ways. I think you’ve got to give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he’ll turn Berbatov around, because he is a talent.

All Berbatov has going for him is his first touch. Although he does often set up Ronaldo, giggs and sometimes rooney, his work ethic is that of a sunday leaguer. The ideal Striker for Man Utd. would be David Villa or Ibrahamovic if he leaves inter this summer

Mr Ferguson paid £30.75 million for Berbatov and so far this season he has scored a very feeble 8 Premiership goals,and you have got to remember who he has delivering crosses into him Giggs,Scholes,Rooney,Tevez,Ronaldo etc..
Berbatov is a massive failure,Mr Ferguson got this one wrong,and he needs to sell him abroad,the thought of him being in the Premiership next year would make me sick

Any one who thinks berbatov isnt talented knows nothing about football. Yes his work rate could be better but when he does do things they are fantastic. He rarely loses the ball and his passing and vision are incredible. Hopefully man u sign tevez as well hes def earned it

Berbatov brings a certian finess to the game with his passing.Ithink the real rreason Sir Alex brought him to Old Trafford is his abilty in the air , but he is a World Class play .

I love watching Berbatov - a real class act. It is not always the number of goals one is judged by but his assists and control of the ball from his opponents. Keep on keeping us entertained, Berba.

seriously berba has really wasted us,why can't fergusson just put the best line up of Cristiano,rooney and tevez upfront.Tevez plays with his heart for this team,so does cristiano.

@ lee: Of course there's a difference in attitude between Berbatov and Tevez. They are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT players! Berbatov will never be a workhorse, and Tevez will never have such sublime skill and close control on the ball. Berbatov is class, and he only needs a proper preseason to prove it.

You idiots who think work rate is all would make Alan Smith a better player than Cantona or Sheringham -- for crying out loud do us all a fovour and go and support a team with players who you match your wit and intelligence -- maybe Bolton or Stoke. Berbatov is world class -- watch his passing against Spurs -- you dummies.
