Mix and Match

by setanta.com staff , 04 February 2009

It's our fun new feature and it only takes a minute or so to do. Mix and match the names to come up with something different.

The answer can be any combination of first and second names. As long as it works, we'll allow it.

We want (and need!) your suggestions so leave them here using the feedback form. The best ones will get published but, of course, we won't include them at the bottom of this article or it will give the game away.

So get your thinking caps on. We have plenty in the bank but yours will no doubt be far more inspired.

Our first answer was Willie Donachie and Phil Babb. What does this get you? Donachie Babb (Doner kebab) of course!

Second up was John Hartson and Tim Flowers. Combine the two for Hartson Flowers. (Hearts and Flowers)

Thirdly, we had Gilberto and Neil Sullivan giving us Gilbert O'Sullivan.

Up next was Tim Sherwood and Craig Forrest. Hence, Sherwood Forest.

Number five was Rick Holden and John O'Shea. Put the two together and what do you get? Rick O'Shea (ricochet).

Mix the name Lassana Diarra (Lass) has on his Real Madrid shirt and Arsenal full back Bacary Sagna and you get - Lass-sagna = lasagne.

Randy Lerner the Aston Villa owner and Andrew Driver of Hearts. What do you get? Learner Driver.

One for all Internet translation fans and former viewers of The Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy. Ryan Babel and Mark Fish gets you Babelfish.

Did you get this one? Bob Paisley crossed with Gilles De Bilde. It gives you Bob De Bile or Bob The Builder.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Imre Varadi. What does it give you? Ole Varadi = Oliver Hardy. A bit of poetic licence with that one!

Arsenal midfielder Alex Song and Manchester City legend Tony Book. It gives you song book.

Carlo Nash and Michael Bridges gave you Nash Bridges, remember Don Johnson in the US TV drama?
