What will be on the Setanta Sports Channel?
The Setanta Sports channel on Setanta Sports 1 on the Freeview platform is jam packed full of exclusively LIVE top sporting action. 2010 World Cup Qualifiers featuring England and the home nations, England home friendlies, exclusively LIVE Blue Square Premier League matches, exclusively LIVE US PGA TOUR Golf, the best boxing from both sides of the Atlantic, Live Magners League Rugby, Australian NRL and from January, the FA Cup.
How can I subscribe?
There are 3 options:
1: if you have a Freeview box with a viewing card slot and have a viewing card, you can subscribe online by clicking here.
2: If you require a viewing card and/or a Freeview box with a card slot & viewing card, please call 0871 200 62 03, if you are calling from Northern Ireland, please call 0871 200 77 55, and a member of our team will be happy to arrange this for you.
3: If you have a Digital TV then all you need is a Digital TV Adaptor, CAM (Conditional Access Module), which slots into the back of your TV and costs £29.99.
Is it just football Setanta wil be showing?
Not at all, we're also covering LIVE US PGA Tour golf, Asia Cup and IPL Cricket, top LIVE rugby action, top Boxing action, top motor sport, athletics and a whole lot more!
How much does it cost?
Our Setanta Sports channel on a Freeview box costs only £10.99 per month with an initial one-off connection fee of £14.99. New customers are entitled to free 3-month subscription, subject to a one-off £14.99 connection fee. If you purchase a Setanta Freeview Subscrption Pack from high street shops including Tesco, Comet, Currys and Argos then this offer will apply to you.
What payment methods do you accept?
For your initial subscription payment we accept Visa/MasterCard or Maestro. Thereafter your monthly subscription payments can be made via Credit Card or Direct Debit.
Are there any discounts for second/multiple subscriptions on the Freeview platform?
We don't offer any discounts for multiple subscriptions on Freeview at this time.
Can i get the channel for just one month?
No, while there is no annual contract, there is a minimum subscription term of two months. You may cancel your subscription any time after the first ten days of your contract by providing us with written notice which will take effect two months after your next billing date.
Are games/programmes available individually or on a pay per view basis?
No, our dedicated Setanta Sports channel on Freeview has replaced this service. We can now bring you England 2010 World Cup qualifiers, England home friendlies but we're also covering LIVE US PGA Tour golf, top LIVE rugby action, top Boxing action and a whole lot more!

You can check whether you will be able to receive the Digital Terrestrial signal by logging on to http://www.dtg.org.uk/consumer/coverage. If you already have Digital TV, and can receive Channel 5 then you should be able to receive Setanta Sports

Don't worry, in the unlikely event that your viewing is affected after changing your card, please re-read the instructions that came with your viewing card to make sure nothing has been missed. How do I set up my Digital TV Adaptor? (CAM)?
1. First remove your viewing card from the Setanta Sports packaging, taking care not to bend it or touch the gold chip Make a note of the card number and then insert into the Conditional Access Module (CAM) using the arrows as a guide with the gold chip facing upwards. Remember never submerge you viewing card in liquid or use cleaning fluids on it
2. Switch off your TV at the wall making sure you remove any remaining glue from the CAM. Place the CAM with the viewing card into the Common Interface (CI) slot in your Digital TV (Please refer to your manufacturers instruction manual to understand how this is inserted and do not force the CAM into the CI. It will only go in one way, usually in the direction of the arrows marked on the card.
3. Using your manufacturers guide, please re-scan for channels replacing any existing channels
4. Please turn to channel Five for 30 minutes then turn off your television at the wall for 15 seconds, then turn back on and turn to channel Five.
