Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce is again being linked with a move for Egyptian duo Ahmed Al Muhammadi and Shikabala.
Allardyce has been linked with a move for right-back Al Muhammadi for some time and fresh reports have suggested a move could be on the cards after he impressed against England at Wembley last week.
Rovers scouts were again present and Allardyce is said to be lining up a move for the player who is also attracting interest from Premiership rivals Sunderland and Wigan.
Shikabala has also been linked with a move to Rovers in the past and he was an unused substitute against England.
Scouts have seen him in action for Zamalek though and Allardyce has again received favourable reports.
