Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce is keeping tabs on Gothenburg's Icelandic centre-half Ragnar Sigurdsson.
Allardyce admits he is concerned with the state of his defence and the way they concede goals and it is an area he is looking to strengthen when the transfer window re-opens.
The Rovers boss has been keeping tabs on the highly-rated Sigurdsson for some time and the 23-year-old is said to be high on his list of targets as he looks to add some youth to his ranks.
Gothenburg would be reluctant to sell but have hinted a fee in the region of £3million could be enough to secure a deal.
