Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been told to forget any thoughts about signing Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo in the summer.
Wenger has been linked with a move for the Brazilian defensive midfielder as he draws up plans to strengthen his Gunners squad at the end of the season.
Melo, who is 26 and joined Juventus in a £21m move from Fiorentina last summer, recently had a spat with Juventus fans during the recent 3-3 draw with Siena - an incident that culminated in the Brazilian making a public apology - and is reportedly keen to join Arsenal.
But Juventus president Jean-Claude Blanc told tuttojuve.com: "Melo will remain with us."
"
Do not make any more comments about the transfer market. We will focus on these matches left until the end of the season without looking too far ahead, but by demonstrating our qualities on the field."
