Mourinho can leave Inter

by Admin , 18 March 2010 Jose Mourinho

Jose Mourinho has revealed he has a clause in his contract at Inter allowing him to leave and will look at his options in the summer.

Mourinho moved to Italy in 2008 and won the Serie A title in that year, while the Nerazzurri are also leading the way in his second year, a point clear of arch rivals AC Milan with ten games to go.

The Portuguese tactician also engineered Inter's progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League at the expense of former club Chelsea in midweek. and has already proved himself in Europe's elite competition having guided unfancied Porto to glory in 2004.

Mourinho has never appeared to have settled in Italy, having frequently fallen out with referees in particular, and has revealed that he will consider his future at the end of the season.

"My future consists of doing my best until the end of the season, then we'll see," Mourinho said in The Sun.

"My contract is simple. I've got another three years, with a clause that allows me to leave whenever I want."
