Klitschko eyes Haye clash

Wladimir Klitschko believes there is a "good chance" that he will face David Haye in a heavyweight showdown, possibly even before the year is out.

Klitschko retained his IBF, WBO and Ring heavyweight titles with a 12th-round knockout of Eddie Chambers on Saturday night.

The Ukrainian is now keen to take on WBA champion Haye, though his brother Vitali is also expected to fight the Briton.

"I told Vitali I would fight Haye and, if he cares about having title belts in the house, I told him I would give him Haye's afterwards," said Klitschko.

"I would prefer to fight him in a soccer arena, but I would also face him in a car park if necessary - maybe even this year. We have a good chance of setting this fight up."

Klitschko was on course for a comfortable points win over Chambers on Saturday, but then knocked the exhausted American out with a left hook, five seconds from the final bell.

"I'm happy that I was able to finish the fight with the knockout," he enthused. "My opponent was very fast."
