Donegal manager John Joe Doherty will see his squad significantly strengthened with the return of some key players over the coming weeks.
Rory Kavanagh and Christy Toye, two very prominent performers in past seasons, are expected to link up with the squad once more, with Kavanagh returning from a spell spent travelling and Toye only now reaching full fitness after serious Achilles injury problems.
Both will add class and fluency to a Donegal attack that will also include U21 prospect Michael Murphy and the more experienced Colm McFadden.
However, despite rumours, there will be no return to the panel for Glenswilly's Ciaran Bonner, who was axed from the panel last year for a breach of discipline.
"There is no truth in that at all. I have made no contact with Ciaran and I have no plans to do so," was Doherty's curt opinion when questioned on the matter.
The manager did reveal, however, that the door remains open to defender Eamon McGee, should he return from London.
