Outgoing French Football Federation president Jean-Pierre Escalettes insists Nicolas Anelka should never be allowed to represent France again.
Anelka was sent home from the World Cup ahead of France's final Group A match after failing to apologise to coach Raymond Domenech for his verbal assault during the loss to Mexico.
His dismissal led to the remainder of the squad refusing to train ahead of the defeat by South Africa, which signalled the end of France's World Cup campaign, and Escalettes has called for the Chelsea striker to banned from playing for Les Bleus in the future.
"Neither I nor my successor, nor the future coach will forget what happened and everyone will ensure that he cannot play for France," Escalettes told L'Equipe.
Meanwhile, former French coach Domenech has told a Cultural Affairs Committee of the National Assembly that he was wrong not to shake the hand of South Africa coach Carlos Alberto Parreira.
Domenech refused to shake Parreira's hand as a result of comments made by the coach about Thierry Henry's handball against the Republic of Ireland.
"The whole of France being well-meaning and so quick to make moral found no fault with the accusations of Mr Parreira," Domenech told the committee.
"It is important for me to defend the image of the France team. I probably did not measure the negative media coverage of my gesture.
"I probably should have told him directly and discreetly."
