Bayern Munich have admitted that they are interested in bringing Schalke goalkeeper Manuel Neuer to the club in the summer.
The talented shot-stopper has attracted interest from a number of top clubs from across Europe and his future with Schalke is uncertain, with only a year reamining on his current deal.
Premier League giants Manchester United have been linked with Neuer but the 25-year-old has insisted that he wants to remain in Germany and win the Bundesliga title.
Bayern have also been strongly linked with the German international and chairman Uli Hoeness has now revealed that the club could try and sign the goalkeeper in the summer.
He said: "We are thinking about signing a goalkeeper for the new season.
"And from the eyes of a Schalke supporter, I would very much feel my club's goalkeeper being tracked."
