Rangers have confirmed the double signing of Scotland full back Lee Wallace and USA international midfielder Alejandro Bedoya.
Left back Wallace, 23, has signed a five-year deal with Ally McCoist’s side after joining from Hearts for a fee believed to be in the region of £1.5 million.
The player, who has now fully recovered from the cruciate ligament injury suffered last season, has been signed in time to be part of the Gers squad for next Tuesday’s Champions League qualifier against Malmo of Sweden.
He will battle with Sasa Papac to be McCoist’s first choice at left back in the new season, which gets underway with Saturday’s game against Wallace’s old Hearts team-mates.
Meanwhile, the Gers have also confirmed the signing of midfielder Bedoya, who will switch to the Glasgow club in January subject to his acquisition of a work permit.
Bedoya, 24, is currently with Swedish side Orebro, who have rejected Gers approaches to make the transfer immediate.
