Grace top as Colsaerts falters

Home favourite Branden Grace has a four shot lead at the halfway stage of the Volvo Golf Champions in South Africa, overtaking Belgian Nicolas Colsaerts.

Grace stands at 12 under par after shooting an impressive 66, while Colsaerts had a disastrous second round.

He shot a 76, which was 12 more than on his first day, and now lies in joint fifth place. That was the joint worst score of the day, with the best going to England's Lee Slattery.

His 65 not only lifted him to joint second with Thomas Aiken, but also earned the 33-year-old at Stg25,000 car.

Playing partner Retief Goosen (68) received the same prize as they combined with English amateur Mark Vandenberghe to win the one-round team event.

Padraig Harrington finished on a double bogey seven for the second day in a row and currently lies eight shots adrift of Grace. The Dubliner shot a 73 and is tied with Darren Clarke (68) and England's Tom Lewis (74).
