Jack O'Connor said he was particularly pleased with the performances of Kerry's newcomers in Saturday's National Football League victory over Dublin.
"I thought all the young lads played very well," the Kingdom manager enthused.
"Brian McGuire was very solid on the wing and Peter Crowley and (Shane) Enright were very tenacious at the back. James O'Donoghue was very lively and so was Barry John Keane. It was a great game for those young fellas. It's no secret we need to keep finding players. We've had a big turnover of young players since 2009.
"We've had something like seven or eight new players and if you want to stay on the road you need to keep finding new players.
"It augurs well because those players weren't overawed by the occasion."
O'Connor was also delighted to see his side end their winless streak against Dublin.
"Of course, you hate losing to the same opposition, especially with the margins of the losses being a point each time. It's always great for the confidence when you get a win up here."
