Andre Villas-Boas says his job is not under threat at Chelsea despite reports suggesting he is set for the axe.
Chelsea have struggled in the league this season and face a tough task just to make next year's Champions League, never mind challenge for the Premier League title.
Speculation has gone through the roof since Roman Abramovich pitched up at the training ground last week and recent reports have claimed that Jose Mourinho could make a sensational return at the end of the season.
Fabio Capello has also been linked following his resignation from England but Villas-Boas is not concerned with all the rumours and is focused on the job in hand.
"We have never stopped speaking, because he is physically present it does not mean the conversation has just started now," he revealed.
"The conversations have been ongoing, in different modes, but with physical presence you get your ideas across better, which is good.
"You can speculate whatever you want, but for us it is fantastic to have him here. It is not distracting, not at all."
