Hull have completed the signing of Steven Mouyokolo from Boulogne, after agreeing a deal for the defender back in January.
Mouyokolo was allowed to remain in France and play on for his former club in Ligue 2, after both sides agreed a transfer at the turn of the New Year.
The 22-year-old is now in England finalising the details before penning a four-year contract, and is excited at the prospect of playing in The Premier League.
"Hull City stayed in the top division and that is a brilliant thing," the Frenchman told Hull's official website.
"It has always been my dream to play in England. I've been playing football since I was 10 and during that time England has always had the best league in the world and everyone wants to play there.
"I have worked and worked and worked, but I still didn't think the chance would come so quickly.
"This is a dream come true and now I have the opportunity that a lot of players in France want.
"I can't wait for the season to start now. I can tell this club is like a family where everybody works for each other. I like that mentality."
