Midfielder Giles Barnes is ready to stay at Derby should a permanent move to Fulham fall through.
Barnes, 20, battled with an Achilles injury throughout his loan spell and recently returned to the Championship club.
The talented youngster is undergoing rehabilitation after surgery and he told the Derby Telegraph: "I've been told that Fulham have gone back to Derby a couple of times since I returned - but it's all down to price.
"If it comes off, that would be great - but I'm a Derby player and they've looked after me. I'd be happy to stay here if it's not meant to be."
