West Ham technical director Gianluca Nani has confirmed the club is interested in signing Inter midfielder Luis Jimenez.
The 24-year-old Chile international has been linked with a £3.5 million move to both West Ham and Tottenham and reports claim The Hammers have opened talks over the deal.
And Nani, who left Brescia last year to head to Upton Park, believes Jimenez could be an ideal signing for Gianfranco Zola.
"We have a coach who likes to play football on the ground and Jimenez is a great player,” he said in FC Inter News.
“He is currently an Inter player, but we still have two months left in the market.
“I like him very much – I wanted him to come to Brescia years ago.”
