Iniesta reaffirms Barca commitment

by Adam Marshall , 19 June 2009

Barcelona star Andres Iniesta has reiterated his desire to end his career at Camp Nou.

The midfielder scored the dramatic goal at Chelsea that sent his side into the Champions League final and was outstanding in Rome in the 2-0 victory against Manchester United.

As a key part of the Treble-winning Barca team, the 25-year-old could slot into any club in Europe.

However, the Spain international has no intention of ever leaving Catalunya.

"My greatest dream is to finish my career at Barca," he said in an exclusive interview with France Football.

"But I know this will depend on a number of factors - my performance, of course, and also the projects of the club.

"Anyway, I am very grateful to Barca, to the city of Barcelona and to Catalunya.

"I will stay here until someone tells me to leave!"
