Silvio Berlusconi has insisted that Alexandre Pato will stay at Milan, while he ‘wishes’ Andrea Pirlo will also remain at the San Siro.
Chelsea target Pato will not move to England, as he is part of the club’s future, Berlusconi has claimed.
Italy international Pirlo has also been linked with a summer move to Stamford Bridge and the club’s supremo has declared he will assess the situation.
Meanwhile, Rossoneri midfielder Massimo Ambrosini has asked his employers to put rubber-stamp a one-year contract extension.
“We are going to see what we do with Pirlo, I hope that he is going to stay and I was the first to say so, but we must assess the situation,” Berlusconi said on Milan Channel.
“Pato is going to complete an amazing career and I think that he can replace Kaka.
“There is no problem with Ambrosini, who wants to extend his contract to another season.
“Ronaldinho will be fine this year,” he added.
“Some figures in football are just crazy, they don’t have anything to see with the normal economy, we can even say they are indecent and this is inacceptable,” he said.
“This year we have a great team, last season we wasted our finish by giving the ball away too often in decisive moments.”
