LE CHAMPIONNAT

Le Championnat is the top division of French soccer and was founded in 1932. It is currently structured similarly to the English Premier League, with relegation of the bottom 3 teams to Ligue 2 and promotion of the top three Ligue 2 teams to Le Championnat.

Setanta Sports airs approximately two LIVE or nearly live Le Championnat matches per week.
