Cagefighting: WEC 49 - Main Event Varner vs Shalrous

For the first time ever a World Extreme Cagefighting event takes place outside of the USA with Edmonton, Canada the host for WEC 49.

The bill is topped by former lightweight champion Jamie Varner as he takes on former Olympic wrestler Kamla Shalorus plus a featherweight title eliminator between Josh Grispi and LC Davis. 

Canadian fans can see three of their top MMA fighters, Chris Horodecki, Mark Hommick and Yves Jabouin on the bill plus several seasoned Amercian WEC warriors including former champion Eddie Wineland.
