THE CONCACAF GOLD CUP

Watch the 12 best teams from North America, Central America and the Caribbean battle it for 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup exclusively on Setanta Sports in Australia.

After their recent triumphs in the Confederations Cup and with home crowds behind them USA will start as favourites to complete a hat-trick of Gold Cup titles. Perennial achievers Mexico will be confident of adding to their record seven wins in the tournament history with only Canada having managed to wrestle the title away from one of these two local footballing giants in the last 20 years.

The 2009 Gold Cup will see two new teams enter the history books as Grenada and Nicaragua compete in the finals phase for the first time. The archipelago of Guadeloupe once again have qualified for the Gold Cup despite not being eligible for the World Cup matches as a part of the French Republic.
